Creep killing techniques
I have not seen many ppl doing this.
In each wave, pull every creep to you. Make them walk to you, not you walk to them.
How you do it?
Walk within 200-300 aoe of enemy creep, Ctrl+A the enemy hero, this attracts all fire on you. Then immediately at the same time walk backwards to your tower. Rinse and repeat.
Advantages:
1. Minimizes the chances of denying from enemy heroes
2. Pulls creeps to safety range for you to last hit.
3. Allows tower if close enough to do some dmg for you.
4. FCking effective if you are melee hero versus a range hero.
5. This works even better if melee vs melee,
6. What else more do i have to say?
JUST DO IT.
P.S. I know quite a few of you know and heard this, but seriously i havent seen ppl doing this. All they are concerned is last hit/denying so this is one way of preventing such things from happening.
What i'm trying say most of us know about it & knows how to execute, but a few does it...

Re: Creep killing techniques
As dazzle, i pretty hope the enemy use this technique instead of me using it. As my creeps go and chase the enemy hero, i can use shadow wave to heal and inflict some damage to the enemy hero. This technique is not recommended when u fight heroes like dazzle or omniknight.
Re: Creep killing techniques
Hmmm... wonder who that ex - team mate is ... Mind letting me in on that??
Yeah most people know but are lazy/too noob to do this.
However with everything, there are advantages and disadvantages.
Sometimes the creeps turn on you and attack u before returning to attack the creeps , causing you to lose health unnecessarily, (I stress the word 'SOMETIMES')
But it is a relatively good idea =)

Re: Creep killing techniques
I noticed that earlier, but I didn't really think of THAT use.
And losing health is okay, but you don't do that when you're soloing a stunner lane.

Re: Creep killing techniques
Losing health is ok... if u manage to succeed. Sometimes u fail and the creeps attack you and return back to their original targets.
Anyway... i realise that sometimes when u try to "pull" the creeps this way, u may expose yourself to gangs from the side or even behind as you are required to aggro the enemy hero.

Re: Creep killing techniques
Hmm. I don't think much life is lost from this method of pulling. I agree though, that it places you in a more vulnerable spot in terms of getting ganked.
What I don't get is, why do our aggro sometimes fail? I suspect it's due to the range at which you try to aggro the creeps.

Yup I think so too.
Re: Creep killing techniques
Practice makes perfect bah. I can do it 90+ % le, just lazy to do in pub.
Btw can explain why it makes u vulnerable to ganks? Since the creeps are pulled towards your own tower @@

Re: Creep killing techniques
Uhm, I think its because u have to go a bit nearer to the creep wave and if your opponents gank you there, the creeps will attack too? Idk, my 2 cents
Re: Creep killing techniques
Oh. You do not have to go very near the enemy creeps.
Just stand behind your own ranged creep, the range is sufficient to draw fire.

Re: Creep killing techniques
Well then wait for him to reply. I just do it like occasionally, dont really notice the range.
Re: Creep killing techniques
Hmm maybe that has been over looked.
When i first tried to apply this when i was on bnet (Using my godly ES as usual, im sure u would know WM), it seemed to fail alot.
Anyway, to clarify my point above.
Imagine you are in scourge and just pass top tower. Some heros are camping for u in the forest there (Hope you can visualise, im sure most of us can) and to aggro the creeps you will definitely give vision, instigating your enemies to gang you. I myself have done this (The killing, not the dying, of course) when people come out trying to aggro enemies to get the creeps.
But overall its a really good technique and should be applied alot more...

Re: Creep killing techniques
Yeah, agreed. Before you posted that, I was visualizing Sentinel bottom lane, but it's the same. I guess if it's too far away from your tower or if there are heroes missing, then maybe we should not "pull", but rather stay closer to your tower.

Re: Creep killing techniques
Well I normally do this when I'm a solo lane or disadvantaged, and I agree on the ganking thing.
If they overpower you (let's say sentinel bottom lane, with you being sent), Normally they'll always push the wave to the tower or slightly out of tower range. Sometimes (Normally this succeeds but the enemies aren't that aggressive either way so...) what I like to do is wait for them to last hit, since people have the tendency to do the "melee" dance thing and if they get closer take that oppurtunity to take a step forward. aggro, and back off. Of course it works best if the enemy is ranged. other times I use fog of war to come out and aggro the hero or just suddenly run in and aggro and run out (If the enemy watches out for this then u dai painfully).
I'm pretty sure you all already thought of this but thats all I know on this subject lol.
