Our IHs are normally very messy, so I thought it'd be best if we can organize them and decide teams beforehand, like in a place like this.

So in this thread, I'll probably list a couple of dates and times, then we'll see how many people can make it at each time. Then hopefully we can make balanced teams here to save some time on the day itself.

Lastly, to anyone who's interested, we could make proper use of the clan Squad Leaders by splitting the clan into smaller teams- this way, we can have inhouses organized faster (preset teams, passing messages through the leaders), and also the teams can build on teamwork faster rather than playing with different teams each time. I think at the moment we should have sufficient people to make three-four teams of six each? At the most we can draw from WR's group of friends (WM stop me if you're not approving), and stuff...

So there'll be one Squad Leader with 5 teammates (inclusive of an extra guy just in case)...
To get the ball rolling, I'll volunteer to be the first leader.

Back to the inhouses: I'm organizing the first one, Friday night, 12:00. It's a bit late but that's when I play mostly.

Our clan has about 18 people or so, but not all of us are online regularly unfortunately, e.g tunneling. With WR's frens I suggest we form 3/4 teams? What do you all think? This will be a great way to train teamwork imo.

Wow. Great idea... Its alot better to organise stuff here because in the clan chat its really messy sometimes and people get frustrated easily.
However we need to have active participation from members both on the forums (so they know when where and with whom they are playing with)
and in the clan chat itself to actually start the games
From most experiences of organising inhouses... it takes a bloody long while (sometimes even up to 1hour), to organise the teams and its really disorganised and messy.
I dont mind being the 2nd leader?
Important thing is to split teams evenly so that we can mingle around as a team instead of always changing teams, which may lead to conflicting playstyles.
Overall great idea but we will really need the participation and co operation of as many members as possible ( to have as much fun as we can)
If our clan expands big enough, who knows we can even have a mini inhouse tournament =)
For now however i think the most important thing is to split people into groups without any objections ( No friend-friend must be in the same team, etc etc)

sub-teams & mini IH-tourneys in clan is good, but there's abit of problems with this idea though.

1) Slot limit.
Max 20 members in the clan.
I dun want to, and dun have $ to topup, as most of it got into spending out with bros, frens & gf ;p

2) Number of teams.
Even if i topup to 50 members, I dun like the idea of too many teams. Just 1 or 2 is enough. Should be capped at maximum 3 as it's hard to recruit & no1 wants to recruit anyway even though we have 2 ORGANIZERS (u noe who).
More teams & we'll end up like ExL.

3) Distribution.
The purpose of team is to get the clan stronger. If we divide the players out evenly w/o considering their teamwork etc, den what's the point?
IMO we shud let the leader/players decide for themselves their desired team only then can we feel comfortable & play better.

4) [for future leaders] Training time.
If members can't commit then there's nth we can do.
We can only IH or scrim on friday/saturday nights & holidays. Weekdays are out. Summore got exams + projects + homework.
IMO, time management is impt & players shud communicate with their leaders, then the leaders in turn contact amongst each other for training schedule.

Imba? i think most of us have same standard in terms of dota skills bah.., unless u trying to tell us u dam aizai la ;p

I agree equalize will be good but ONLY if the players r comfortable with each other. Win-win situation.
However the leaders can always add better players which suit their roster into the clan in the near future, so dun have to worry abt the uneven stuffs. ^^

Uh so I assume most people are okay with the team things. In that case I suggest WM and Valentin0z go make your own teams unless you are planning on teaming together... if more people are left over we can pool with WR's friends and shit and make more teams. Everyone improve together!

Btw I don't randomly recruit people because I don't often see good players outside of CWR. Also, i'm planning on adding KL and Zhu if there is space to...?

Lastly, I agree, keep the clan small so we don't ExL. And WM if you got cashflow problems I dunno lor. December I can contribute if we meet up.

As for the teams im fine if we just randomly or otherwise shuffle the teams up again ... And our inhouse time not exactly very consistent... especially when SOMEBODY made half the entire clan wait for 2 hrs. ( i dont know who ... hmmm )
